Humayun Ahmed was born on 13 November, in a place named Mahongong of Netrokona. But, The home village of Humayun Ahmed was Kutubpur, Mymenshing. His father name is Faizur Rahman Ahmed and mother name is Ayesa Fayez. Humayun Ahmed has two bothers and three sisters. His other two bothers named Muhammad Zafar Ikbal(Who is the most Bangla popular science fiction writer ever) and Ahsan Habib(Who is the editor of a Bangla magazine named Unmad as well as a painter too) are also famous for writing.
Humayun Ahmed was married two times in his life. First wife of Humayun Ahmed was named Gultekin Ahmed and the name of wife of Humayun Ahmed is Meher Afroz Shawon. Humayun Ahmed has three daughter named respectively Nova, Sheela and Bipasha as well as three son named Nuhas and Nishad as well as Ninit respectively. He was three daughters and one son in first family and two son in second family.
